Accounting

 
 
ComSoft, Inc. Accounting is a powerful and flexible module that allows for customized accounting practices or integration with a third-party accounting package, such as QuickBooks, AutoSoft, and Dealer Track.  It easily and reliably tracks all information associated with your business’ financial needs, from purchasing and selling cars, to company payroll.  Due to the design of this module, any third-party accounting software that provides a public Windows API can be integrated into the application without making any changes to the core application base.  Because of this, the offerings within this module will constantly grow as customer needs change and the use of third-party accounting software packages grows.  Currently there are two available Accounting plug-ins, QuickBooks Accounting and AutoSoft.  Regardless of the selected accounting integration package, ComSoft, Inc. works through a single point of access for all accounting functionality to provide a consistent model should a business decide to switch at a later time.  The data that is setup in third-party accounting package does not have to be re-entered as ComSoft, Inc. Setup module supplies syncing functionality to pull the data from the third-party application into the ComSoft, Inc. database for later use.  Depending on the selected accounting package, these syncs may also be fired behind the scenes when triggered from application events that would require the data to be updated and consistent.  Not all data categories are used by each third-party accounting package, but the list consists of:

    2. Sales Deals
     3. Inventory
     4. Customers
     5. Employees
     6. Journal Entries
     7. Vendors
     8. Tax Codes
     9. Item Sales Tax
     10. Bills
     11. Invoices
     12. Any third-party specific setup data, such as the location of the QuickBooks file.
