Guest event defaults allows you to set up some automation for the Guest List and Traffic statuses.

Use Default Source

Check  this box if you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select a source when a new guest record is created.

Select the source you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select as the source when a new guest record is created.

Default New Guest Status

4. Default New Guest Status
Select the status you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select when a new guest record is created.
NOTE: Sources are entered on the Status/Source Tab.

Default Sent To Finance Status

Select the status you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select as the status when a Quote created in the Guest Quote Screen is sent to Finance.
NOTE: Sources are entered on the Status/Source Tab.

Default Sent To Accounting Status

Select the status you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select as the status when a Finance Deal is sent to accounting.

Default Posted To Accounting Status

Select the status you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select as the status when a Finance Deal is posted to accounting books.
NOTE: Sources are entered on the Status/Source Tab.

Drop down

Select the status you want ComSoft DMS to automatically select as the status when a Finance Deal is sent to accounting.

Use Default Inactive Status

Checking this will activate automatic notifications based on the parameters set in this section.

Inactive Days

10. Inactive Days
Set the number of days to wait until the system automatically sets the status of a guest to the inactive status selected in the drop down list.
NOTE: Setting the status to inactive will visually notify you as well as (if enabled) show you a dialog box warning you that the customer is in an inactive status.

Remind Inactive

11. Remind Inactive
When checked the system will remind you for the number of days selected that the guest is in an inactive status.

Enable nag dialog check

12. Enable nag dialog check
This check box allows you to enable/disable the nag dialog box that warns of inactive guests every time the user opens the guest list window.

Final Status

13. Final Status
Once the reminder days have expired the guest status will be set to the status selected.
