Status Source Tab
 
Prospect parameters are used for tracking the status, referral source, and result of a prospect. These are shown on the Guest Window.

Parameter Type Selector

1. Parameter Type Selector
Select the parameter type you want to change or enter.
Select the status type to enter guest results you wish to track.
Select referral source to enter referral sources you wish to track.

Add Button

Enter the text you wish to add to the List in the Description text box. Click the "Add" button to add the Description into the list.

Delete Button

Select the item in the list you wish to delete in the List and click the "Delete" button.

List

The list show all the items for the selected Parameter Type.

Up Button

Select an item in the List and click the "Up" button to move it up in the list.

Down Button

Select an item in the List and click the "Down" button to move it down in the list.

Description

Enter the description for the new status or referral source List item.

Status Mapping

8. Status Mapping
Status mapping is only visible when the status radio button is selected above.
The internal mapping allows ComSoft to make certain decisions about the state of the traffic record but still allow you to create as many custom statuses as you like.
 
Valid settings are:
  • New - Indicating that the state of this visit is new.
  • In Progress - Indicating that this visit is still in progress or being worked.
  • Sold New - Indicating that this visit resulted in a new vehicle sale.
  • Sold Used - Indicating that this visit resulted in a used vehicle sale.
  • Lost - Indicating that this visit resulted in a lost sale.
  • Cancelled - Indicating that this visit was canceled because it was entered by mistake.
  • Duplicate Closed - Indicating that this visit is a duplicate of another.
  • Inactive - Indicating that this visit resulted in a new vehicle sale. NOTE: The system will only allow one of these.
  • Unknown - Indicating that this visit status is unknown.
